Many unpleasant things had happen, most common word from my boss were “ faster can a not” or “ I never seen any part-timer that slow in my life “ …
Well she (Jane) is my boss so I never try to argue with her, but in my heart there is one sentence that keeps bugging me, “ don’t work hard, work smart. Is not matter how hard you work, is the matter of the quality you produce.”
Well, she just wants us to work above normal standard, like run in the mall, able to remember all the price of all the items without the price tag, cant be late even for a minutes (her watch time) and so on…
And I think the motivation to keep me going is our friendly Singaporeans. Thousand of weird trick and idea that you could never think of… like compress soft toys in to a mug and pack together… buying things for their pet dogs… compare their apparels to the purple hippo… wanted to buy a damage items and expect us to give 50% discount for that item…ask for a higher price tag on their items (buying $5.90 goods want us put a fake price tag of $25.90++)
